It was a beautiful autumn day, October 14, 2020. On that day, Fair Play Team from Lipusz organised their charity action as part of the task of the second, “Let’s do something good” in the Fair Play Program.


The main purpose of the charity was to organise the area around the parish church dedicated to St. Michael the Archangel in Lipusz and neighboring shrines. The participants then moved to a park on the river Wda in Lipusz, where they plundered and cleaned the leaves and collected the rubbish in the river. At the end, all volunteers and other participants of the campaign took part in a joint meal, a cake and tea organised in the local catechetic room. Apart from the fact that the action was intended to draw attention to activities promoting care for the environment and the local environment, it was also inclusive.

The action of “cleaning the world” involved 7 young volunteers Fair Play Teams from Lipusz – 4 girls and 3 boys. Their tasks were:work on cleaning and logistics and organisation of tasks for other participants of the event.


Local partners were also involved in the charity, organised by volunteers from Lipusz. Parish dedicated to St. Michael the Archangel in Lipusz, together with priest Jan Ostrowski and vicar Mateusz Drutel. The task of the institution was to make the catechetic room available for the integration meeting after the event. The Association for the Development of the Municipality of Lipusz, which bought a treat in the form of cake and tea for the participants of the action.


The leader of Fair Play Team from Lipusz and the initiator of its activities is Grzegorz Lipiński, an animator of sport on the local „Orlik” pitch, teacher of physical education at the School Complex in Lipusz.



The charity campaign of volunteers from Lipusz promoted 15 – from the seventeen Goals of Sustainable Development, Life on Land.
