Volunteers of Fair Play Team from Gościeszowice, on 25 September 2020, took part in planting trees, as part of the second task, “Let’s do something good” Fair Play Program, which is the organisation of charitable actions.


The team from Gościeszowice joined the initiative of the nationwide President of the Republic of Poland and the First Lady.The purpose of the action was to show that trees are “a factory of oxygen” that we all use.Trees are home to many plants and animals. Wood is an ecological raw material and also serves people as a building material.That’s why it’s so important to know that trees are essential in our ecosystem.



15 young volunteers – 10 girls and 5 boys – joined theaction of planting trees in Gościeszowice.Their task was to choose the place of operation and to plant the trees themselves.


The partner of the charity action carried out by volunteers from Gościeszowice was the Primary School in Gościeszowice. The facility provided a place for planting trees and provided the participants with seedlings, which were donated by friends of the forest industry in Szprotawa.


The leader of Fair Play team from Gościeszowice and the initiator of volunteer activities is Łukasz Chmielewski.



The charitable action of planting trees, carried out by volunteers from Gościeszowice, promoted the 13rd Sustainable Development Goal: Climate action.
